Citroën teases new model before August 30th reveal. Can you guess what it is?

Being that the world's largest motor show of the year takes place on its home turf of Paris, Citroën is readying several debuts for next month's automotive fest in France. Today, the automaker released this conceptual teaser video of an unknown car that will be revealed online on Monday, August 30th, ahead of its world premiere at the Paris Auto Show. The video doesn't show much, but we did notice the DS logo on the background.

There's a good possibility the car featured in the video is the production version of the Geneva show DS High Rider concept, otherwise known as the DS4. However, it may be something different altogether like the long rumored DS5 . Watch the video after the break and tell us what you think.

Upmarket Citroen DS4 Teased Prior to Geneva Motor Show

In the same way it did with the DS3 supermini, Citroen is slowly taking the covers off the second member of its premium DS family, the DS4, before its formal debut -most likely in pre-production guise- at next month's Geneva Salon.

The slightly increased ride height suggests that the three-door DS4 may step into crossover territory, further differentiating it from the next-generation C4 hatchback with which it shares its platform and mechanical hardware.

Like the DS3, one of the selling points of the production DS4 will be its bespoke customization options.

Expect to see Citroen releasing more photos and details on the DS4 over the next few days.

Citroen Readying DS3 R3 Rally Car - First Photos

The production version of Citroen's all-new DS3 was only just revealed at last month's Frankfurt Show, but the French automaker is already working on a rally version of its three-door supermini. Pictured here during testing on dry tarmac, the DS3 rally car is said to be homologated for Group R3. There's nothing official yet on Citroen's site but the photos show a stripped out DS3 featuring a full roll cage, boot and roof scoops along with rally-spec tires and alloy wheels. We'll keep an eye on this story for any developments by until then, hit the jump for more pictures.
